I just received this mattress and was extremely impressed by the quality. It is thick and soft, yet firm and has a great bounce to it. One can tell right away that this is well made. I feel very confident that my baby will sleep well on this mattress through his toddler years. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone, but especially to those who know and understand the value of a good mattress. Also, it comes with a 25 year warranty and you can register on the company website. I tested many mattresses at Babies R Us and was disgusted at how cheap and cardboard-like they were. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!

This is a good quality mattress at nice price for an organic product. It did have a strong smell out of the plastic wrapper, as described by others, but it subsided. The mattress is not as firm as I had expected given the number of coils and gauge of steel. It arrived with no documentation at all and without the required mattress cover that is mentioned in the description. It took four separate communications with LA Baby customer service to get them to send it out, but they were courteous and did not give me any trouble. A registration form for the warranty can be downloaded from the LA Baby website.

I ordered this mattress as i wanted a coconut one and 2 in 1 is a great addition. But when i got it, it turned out it wasnt 2 in 1. If you look at manufacturer's site [...] you'll see that there are two kind of mattresses: one of them is coconut mattress and another is 2 sided cotton mattress. So, be careful when buying from amazon.
